Dan Murach has spent over 20 years working at the UW Madison in support of research. As a programmer, business analyst, and database administrator he worked in research groups under the Department of Ophthalmology.  In that time he worked with principal investigators, biostatisticians, and other faculty on campus, nationally, and internationally in support of dozens of clinical trials and epidemiology studies focusing on eye diseases including Diabetic Retinopathy, Age-related Macular Degeneration and Geographic Atrophy.

In 2021 Dan joined the SSEC in continuation of his support of UW-based research, this time in support of the admin group that, in turn, support the principal investigators of the SSEC.
