Review Process
Full proposals will be reviewed by the SSEC2022 review panel, which will be led by the Center Director and include elected SSEC Advisory Council (SAC) members. SAC members with conflicts of interest on individual proposals will be recused from evaluation of that proposal. Proposals will be ranked based on the following criteria:
- Merit
- Proposed work is compelling
- Technical quality of the management plan and project timeline
- Qualifications of the proposal team
- Relevance to the SSEC priority areas
- Cost realism
The SSEC Director will compile the review panel input and use that information in making final selections.
Deliverables
Selected proposals will require quarterly progress reports on the status of the project milestones and spending. A final report will be required at the end of SSEC2022 support. The final report should include a summary of accomplishments, new grants or contracts that were awarded or submitted by the team, and equipment purchased.
