RealEarth™ Visualize Your Data

The RealEarth Team has started an internal task designed to simplify and improve data discovery within the RealEarth product “collection.” In the next few weeks we will be consolidating products into a more manageable list of category topics. You may see some common-use categories disappear from the interface.  This will affect the categories in RealEarth Apps (since they pull from the source).  Be aware that none of the current products (apart from some internal test products) will be eliminated. You will still be able to locate any content using the “Search” feature.  The larger “collection” designation (also evolving) helps sort categories into context-specific collections.  There are collections that are associated with specific apps such as ISEE/JPSS and GOES, for example.  Many products will be cross-listed.  As always, please let us know if you have suggestions for improvements to the basic interface or apps  by emailing realearth@ssec.wisc.edu.
