Suomi NPP Tracks Ernesto
Tropical Storm Ernesto has been tracked by the Suomi NPP satellite as the storm roars across the Caribbean toward the Yucatan Peninsula. Currently a Category 4 tropical storm, Ernesto is expected gain hurricane strength and to make landfall on the Mexico/Belize coast sometime early Wednesday.

Aided by a full moon the Day-Night Band from VIIRS on the Suomi/NPP has been delivering excellent imagery of the storm.
