Meeting Description
The Fifth meeting of the Data Assimilation and Observing System (DAOS) Working Group (WG) was held in Madison, Wisconsin, USA from 19-20 September 2012 at Union South, located in the heart of the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus. A final program is now available.
The aims of these WG meetings are to discuss new results and to promote and coordinate international initiatives in data assimilation and the observing system. Several invited presentations brought the WG up to date on evolving topics of interest. The format was altered slightly to allow/promote more discussion time.
