CALL FOR PAPERS (pdf)
The first Community Satellite Processing Package (CSPP) and International MODIS/AIRS Processing Package (IMAPP) Users’ Group Meeting will be held in Madison, Wisconsin, USA from 21-23 May 2013 at the Pyle Center, located on the shores of Lake Mendota on the University of Wisconsin—Madison campus. The goal of the meeting is to bring together the worldwide community of CSPP and IMAPP users to discuss issues relevant to reception, processing, and applications of data acquired by direct broadcast from Suomi NPP, Terra, and Aqua. Presentations related to other satellite missions including Metop, FY-3, and Meteor-M are also welcome. Topics for discussion may include:
- Local usage and applications of CSPP and IMAPP products from VIIRS, CrIS, ATMS, MODIS, AIRS, and AMSU
- CSPP and IMAPP software technical topics, including related software packages
- Status of current and future polar environmental satellite missions and sensors
- Providing feedback and guidance to the CSPP and IMAPP development teams on current products and future priorities
- Interactive session on satellite data analysis applications (e.g., Python)
Abstracts were submitted during the registration process. The Final Program (PDF) is now available. Posters will be viewed at the Poster Reception Tuesday evening. Poster size will be 48 inches wide x 36 inches tall.
Paying the registration fee is the third step in the registration process. Since it is after 1 May, the registration fee will be $200 to your credit card if you process it via your registration confirmation. Payment of $200 via cash or check only (no credit cards) will be accepted on site at the conference.

THE PYLE CENTER
The Pyle Center is the premier conference facility operated by the University of
Wisconsin Extension Service. This venue includes a 92-seat auditorium, dining rooms, breakout rooms and the poster reception area. Free wireless Internet access is provided. Parking is scarce on campus; using a hotel shuttle is recommended.
During the CSPP/IMAPP Users' Group Meeting, a daily continental breakfast, morning and afternoon breaks, buffet lunches, poster reception and a banquet will be offered at the Pyle Center to allow the maximum opportunity to network with other users.
