Equity & Diversity Suggestions

During discussions of the Climate Survey results with the Directors, it was recommended that we install a good, old-fashioned Suggestion Box. The purpose of this Suggestion Box is to have a means for staff to make suggestions anonymously for improving workplace diversity, communications and environment. The downside of anonymous suggestions is we cannot pass out prizes or acknowledgements when suggestions are used. However, just think of the warm fuzzy feeling you will get knowing that your suggestion was acted on.
 
We plan to install the Suggestion Box outside of the Break Room on the 4th Floor (Room 448). The box will be monitored by the E&D Committee.  
 
So what kind of suggestions are we looking for? Anything that could make SSEC a little bit better place to work. Do you have ideas on how to recruit a more diversified workforce, improving office/lab space, professional development or orientation of new staff? Please share your thoughts.
