Holiday Spirit Decks the Halls at SSEC
Although there was a two-hour gap between the final applause for Hank Revercomb's State of the Center address and the official start of the SSEC/CIMSS Holiday Party, the upbeat mood didn't fade a bit.
Every imaginable variety of chili, and all the fixin's.
The third floor was alive with decorations, conversations, and celebrations -- not to mention the dulcet tones of the choir in the Library. Thirteen varieties of chili festooned the heavily-laden buffet table. And just around the corner, down the hall, another table strained under the widely varied and delightfully hued desserts.
The choir provided a witty, whimsical good time.
And visions of sugar plums...
Decisions...decisions...
Many thanks to the Directors, the party organizers (and clean-up crew!), and to everyone who made 2012 a very special year for the Center.
