As you know, the SSEC Climate Survey was completed in early November. Thank you to everyone who participated in this survey. Don Schutt in the Office of Human Resources Development has completed compiling the results for the survey. Don plans to discuss the results with SSEC Directors first, followed by the E&D Committee and then an all-hands meeting for SSEC staff.
The reasons for the three phase rollout are to ensure that the information is presented in a manner that is useful and actionable, and allow the E&D Committee to develop a preliminary action plan to address the results.
The meeting with the Directors occurred January 6. The E&D meeting is scheduled for the second week in January. The all-hands meeting is planned for some time in early February Please check your e-mail for the date, time and whereabouts of that meeting. If you have any questions regarding the roll out of the Climate Survey results or Equity & Diversity in general, please feel free to contact any of the E&D Committee members or SSEC Directors.
