IFFS Tuesday Trainings for 2013
This year, International Faculty & Staff Services (IFSS) will be presenting one hour trainings on a variety of immigration topics.
These trainings are not limited to those who actually work with my office in filing the applications. Anyone interested is welcome to attend.
For our February 19 training, we will briefly, I mean briefly, touch on the J1, H-1B, F1/OPT, E-3, TN, O-1 statuses. We will discuss who is eligible for each of the statuses and how long an individual can hold each of these statuses.
Our February 26 training, we will talk about what a visa stamp is, an I-94 card, passport, I-20, DS-2019, I-797 receipt and approval notices etc.
Registration for the Tuesday Trainings is now available through the Office Human Resource Development website.
