I have been here in Madison for over two years. I am an international student, from Australia, studying computer programming at MATC. Once finished I will receive an Associate degree, but more importantly a plethora of knowledge to help direct me in the future.

At SSEC I am currently working on developing the many websites. One in particular is being completely redesigned to allow easier navigation through gathered data, whilst allowing less human intervention to update the information on the website.

I am developing my own website, to further hone my skill. It will merely be a blog site for myself to post updates about my life, and provide interesting programming examples. I do have aspirations of creating a 'programmers hub,' a place to go for tips, tricks and updates on what's new.

I also do a lot of PC gaming, cycling, and a little disc golfing.

Moved from a Research Intern position into an Assistant Researcher position working with Wayne Feltz.

My main job duty will be continuing investigating the use of Tropical Overshooting Tops (TOTs), which is a branch of the Overshooting Top Detection algorithm developed by Kristopher Bedka, in tropical cyclone genesis and rapid intensification. I will also be working on using satellite data in the detection of potential areas of aircraft turbulence.
