SYNRPT

Lists synoptic observations.


Format

SYNRPT id1 . . idn nhours [keywords]


Parameters

id1 . . idn

station IDs or states to list; use the two-character state P.O. abbreviation for states

nhours

number of hours to search for observations starting from DAY and TIME (default=3)


Keywords

CO=

co1 . . con

lists observations for all stations in these countries; use the CCODE command to list valid country codes

DATaset=

ADDE dataset name; specify as group/descriptor or alias (default=RTWXTEXT/SYNOPTIC)

DAY=

Julian date to start search; use either the 5- or 7-digit format, for example, 96300 or 1996300 (default=current)

TIMe=

UTC time to start search; valid times are 0, 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18 and 21 (default=current)


Remarks

You must specify at least one station ID, state, or country.

If you use the DAY keyword to specify a day other than the current day, you must also use the TIME keyword.

This entry lists all synoptic reports for London, England, from the past three hours.

SYNRPT MS 72793 8 CO=AT

This entry lists all synoptic reports for Austria, Mississippi, and Seattle, Washington, from the past eight hours.

SYNRPT MB 9 DAY=96300 TIME=12

This entry list all synoptic reports for Manitoba, Canada, from nine hours prior to 12:00 UTC on day 96300.
