AVGI

Reduces image resolution by averaging.

Format

AVGI sarea darea lres eres [keyword]

Parameters

sarea

source area to average

darea

destination area of the averaged data

lres

resolution reduction for lines (default=1)

eres

resolution reduction for elements (default=lres)

Keyword

BAND=

band number from multibanded areas (default=lowest numbered band)

Remark

The area size cannot exceed 26000 elements.

Examples

AVGI 12 15

This entry averages area 12 by one line and element and places the new area in area 15.

AVGI 10 20 4

This entry blows down area 10 four times by averaging pixel values. The new area number is 20.
