Installing and Configuring McIDAS-X

This chapter consists of the McIDAS-X installation and configuration instructions. There are five separate sections:

• Installing McIDAS-X on Unix or macOS Workstations
• Installing McIDAS-X on Windows 7 Workstations
• Configuring McIDAS-X Sessions with .mcidasrc
• Registering MD File Schemas
