Typhoon Vongfong (Ambo) - 13-15 May 2020
A low-pressure area was first noted on May 9 by the JTWC near Micronesia and was given a medium chance of developing into a tropical cyclone. On 13 May, JMA upgraded the system to a Severe Tropical Storm with the system being upgraded to a Typhoon.
