This morning Mr. J. M. Jackson No. 24 Market St. Chicago called in my absence at my office and left a card saying if your address was sent to him, he would write you on the subject of his article in the Times of July 5th -- "Clarke's conquests in Ills."

I have sent him your address; and as you now have his, I doubt not you will soon be in communication with him.

Nothing new with me to speak of -- am very busy as usual. All Well.
