GOES Geostationary Archive [non-goes]

The online archive is an ADDE server to be accessed using McIDAS.

It is not intended for real-time access or data processing. Use it as a source for data older than the previous calendar month only.

All SSEC Data Center GOES archive data are available on server OPENARCHIVE.SSEC.WISC.EDU (IP 128.104.109.75)

To use the online archive:

  • You must Register Your Site
  • You must use the keyword DAY= on your ADDE commands
